THE LATEST FROM THREE FARMERS

This crop was seeded in May 2011 by Ron Emde. Southern Saskatchewan experienced unprecedented moisture that year with flooding becoming an issue. This posed several challenges for our Camelina Crops as Camelina likes dry climates. However, come harvest time the weather decided to cooperate and we had a long dry Fall to help us get the crop off. This Camelina crop was harvested in September 2011.
In August 2013, Ron’s son Kyler trucked a load of Camelina Oil to our crushing facility in Tisdale, SK. Golburn Valley Oilmills began crushing on September 4, 2013. THey completed the crush two weeks later and transported the oil up the road to Northern Nutraceuticals in Spalding, SK.
At this time, our new 100ml bottles that we had launched for the coming holiday season were already flying off our shelves! We needed to bottle more of our 100ml Original and fast so Kevin and the crew set to work to bottle up our latest batch, 030300038, of our 100ml Original. We hope you enjoy!
